The ESPYS were on last night with host Samuel L. Jackson. This is the best sports awards show out there. All big name athletes were there such as Kobe Byrant, Venus and Serena Williams, Landon Donovan, Ben Roethlisberger, and Micheal Phelps who stole the show bringing home a total of five espys. One of the most presdigious awards which is the Arthur Ashe award of courage went to Nelson Mandella. To help present this award was President Barack Obama through a video cam along with Venus and Serena Williams. Mandella who was in prison for thirty years was South Africa's president who helped the country become together with his motto "One team One country" for the world cup of rugby in 1995. He helped end the descrimination in South Africa so blacks and whites good be friends with no violence. Host Samuel L. Jackson did a great job providing comedy for everyone, he had some great lines in saying Micheal Phelps smoked his oppenents. Overall it was a good show.
